WebSep 16, 2024 · A distribution block is very unlikely to cause any issues unless it's plugged since it's just a tee. A proportioning valve can set up with the piston valve in the wrong spot and cause problems, which is why there's a bleeding procedure to adjust them.

The rear brake line will likely be a smaller diameter than the size for which the distribution block is designed (probably 3/16" vs 1/4"), so adapters will be required.

Set up one front wheel and one rear wheel for bleeding at the same time. Crack both bleeder screws and gently pump the pedal a few times.
