You can, is the second time I do this time, but you can do it normally. First of all, like yoy said, the bodyguards recognize you and Eddie too. WebYou can also do the quests in the prison after killing the powder ganger in goodsprings. Simply enough they won't attack you yet because you will only be shunned. Also doing the Eddie's side quest is a good way to clean the prison early on because you'll reach a point where you can betray him and side with the NCR cleaning the prison back.
