The purpose of this feminism was to integrate women into the mainstream structure of society. It primarily focused on achieving gender parity by ensuring political and legal equality. Women are assumed to be passive and inferior, whereas men are assumed to be active and superior. Within these binary oppositions, the feminine is always associated with the “inferior” term.
